What will this cost?
At Boris Communications we do not believe in charging flat-rate prices, such
as a certain amount per page, logo, background etc. We believe this encourages
rush jobs and poor results, because the designers are being paid the same
whether they produce a quality page or simply hack out a quick page (probably
using pre-written templates).
That said, we understand that you, as our
potential customer, are interested in our usual price range.
- A smaller, one page website, with a simple company presentation
can cost as little as $75.00. Large sites of course, require more time
and so necessitate a higher fee. The price of a complex site with custom web
applications can reach $1000.00 or more. A typical basic website takes
about 4 hours @ $75.00 per hour ($300.00). This "typical" fee can be reduced by
supplying our developers with the content for your project in electronic format
(i.e. graphics, verbiage, logos). This reduces reproduction costs for typing and
scanning. For all sites, there will also be a hosting fee. The hosting fee will
depend on the hosting package that best fits your needs.

Once your requirements have been identified, we will provide a quote for the
project and a timetable for its completion. If this is satisfactory, we will
begin work on your site. There will be no hidden extra costs, providing, of
course, that no substantial changes are requested to the ongoing project. The
price quoted to you will depend on such things as the amount of custom graphics
required, the number of pages and features requested, and the complexity of the
programming required to achieve the desired result. Since every site is
different, prices will vary from project to project.
